What we do

We target our services to low-income individuals and families through local churches, community programs, and service organizations. To date, KMOM has provided over 34,000 patients with free dental care valued at over $24 million.

At KMOM, patients are screened and treated based on their most urgent dental needs – extractions, fillings, and dental hygiene. These services are then provided by our volunteers; licensed dentists and hygienists who have donated their talents to treat patients.

Our next mission will be on January 29 & 30 of 2027, at Homefield KCK in Kansas City, KS.

This project cannot happen without the support of community volunteers, food donations, and in-kind donations needed to support both the patients and the volunteers.

We’ve treated 33,537 patients since 2003.

The Kansas Dental Charitable Foundation was created for the purpose of providing funding and resources to improve oral health in Kansas. One of our projects is the Kansas Mission of Mercy (KMOM), a free dental clinic where our doors are open to all patients.
